REVIEW ~ DESK
LOAN ~ EXAMINATION COPY POLICIES
DESK LOAN: If you have adopted a title published by San Diego State University Press, Hyperbole Books, Amatl Comix, and/or Xopan Books as a required book in a university, college, or school course, please submit your desk copy request via email care of bnericci@sdsu.edu. You are also welcome to send it via snail mail to the address below. Be sure to include your name, title, affiliation, mailing address, and projected number of students for your course in your request -- said request should be printed on the letterhead of your school and forwarded with your email as a pdf attachment. A complimentary copy of the desired book will be provided to a professor when 10 or more new books are ordered for course use. Additional desk copies are available for every 40 new copies ordered by your bookstore.
EXAMINATION COPY: If you are a teacher, instructor, or professor who is considering using an SDSU Press title for your course, you may request an examination copy by sending a check for the full, retail price of the book made out to "SDSU Press." Please do include a brief letter on official letterhead from your university, college, or high school with your name, title, affiliation, mailing address, and projected number of students for your course in your request and mail it to:

Note that we will NOT deposit this check for 60 days. Should you adopt the book and your college bookstore places an order for fifteen or more copies, we will destroy your check. If you do not adopt the book (or return it to us in new, saleable condition), we will deposit your check.
REVIEW COPY: SDSU Press will provide review copies of most of our titles upon written request on institutional letterhead. Send your letter to bnericci@sdsu.edu or write to Dr. William Nericcio care of the address listed above. We cannot, however, ship internationally. Write the press director directly with enquiries regarding special arrangements if you are situated abroad.
