San Diego State University Press's Psychoanalysis on the Couch series is a dynamic new collection of books focused on psychoanalysis, psychiatry, Sigmund Freud, post-Freud studies, and more. Born out of the lifelong practice of Ralph R. Greenson, a prominent West Coast psychoanalyst and teacher of psychoanalysis 
(and, yes, Marilyn Monroe's psychoanalyst) and the
curatorial vision of Harry Polkinhorn, series
editor, the series is dedicated to schooling
practicing psychoanalysts on past and future best
practices associated with the work of analysts the
world over. Presently there are eight titles in
the series, all presently available here from SDSU
